WORLDWIDE SPECIALIST IN RICE DERIVATIVES BENEO-REMY TO UNVEIL NEW PRODUCTS AT HEALTH INGREDIENTS EUROPE

BENEO-Remy, the world leader in the production and sales of rice derivatives, will be exhibiting under the BENEO Group banner at this year’s Health Ingredients Europe in France. The ingredient manufacturer will unveil exciting new products in line with the latest consumer health & nutrition trends and will also be presenting at the conference on day three of the event.

Today’s consumers are increasingly opting for healthier food products. Furthermore, more natural and nutritional food products have been significantly improved in recent years in terms of taste, colour, texture and the choice of products available.

Great Tasting Nutrition
At the show, BENEO-Remy will be unveiling a new addition to its Nutriz range, consisting of rice concentrates and powders for use in
rice milks, fruited and fermented drinks, ice cream, cream desserts and whipped desserts. The new product, Nutriz concentrates, has been specially developed as an ingredient for dairy free smoothies and desserts.
 
The company will also be launching a new addition to its range of rice germ/bran products. New RemyLive is a stabilised, high-fibre rice bran containing all the nutritional power of rice in a condensed form. This is thanks to it being composed of the outer brown layer of the rice kernel. RemyLiVe is high in proteins that aid digestion, “good” fats and B-complex vitamins. This makes it an ideal ingredient for healthy whole grain foods including bread, cakes, pasta and breakfast cereals.
 
Pre-Gel Without The ‘E’
Furthermore , BENEO-Remy will be unveiling a brand new cold soluble rice starch gel to its range of clean label products with unique shear stress and processing stability characteristics. The main properties of rice starch pre-gel include its neutral taste, softness and a creamy feeling in the mouth. For this reason it is used mainly for dairy products including yoghurts, white cheese, low fat margarine, ice cream and milk desserts.

Finally, BENEO-Remy will be launching an extension of the organic range of rice derivatives with unique stabilised whole grain rice flours: cold & hot soluble.
